Auto Insurance:
Car insurance is designed to help financially cover potential
auto-related damages, loss or injuries. It helps protect
you, your passengers, your fellow drivers, pedestrians, other
people's property and your car. It can also help protect you
in the event of an
automobile-related lawsuit.
The cost of car insurance varies by insurance company and by:
What you buy
- How many coverages you buy
- The deducible
What kind of car you drive
If you are buying or selling a car, you will need to re-evaluate
your auto insurance needs.
Generally, the more expensive the car, the more you pay.
Where you drive
Generally, due to higher rates of vandalism, theft, and accidents,
urban drivers pay more
for auto insurance than those in small towns or rural areas.
How much you drive
People who use their car for business and long-distance commuting
normally pay more
than those who drive less.
Your age, sex and marital status
Accident rates are higher for all drivers under age 25, especially
young males and single
males. Insurance prices in most states reflect these differences.
Your driving record
Drivers who cause accidents generally must pay more than those
who are accident-free
for several years.
Your credit history
Studies have shown that credit history is a powerful predictor
of future auto insurance
losses. Many insurance companies consider certain credit characteristics
in addition to
many other factors when determining an individual's rate.
What can I do to save money on my auto insurance?
If you're shopping for a car, consider how your choice will affect
premiums.
Some insurers increase premiums for cars more susceptible to
damage or occupant
injury, and lower rates for those that fare better than the norm.
Ask about discounts for good students, insuring more than one
vehicle, accident-free
driving, and others.
Consider joining a car or van pool, or finding other transportation
to work. If you reduce
your driving mileage enough, you may lower your premiums.
Drive carefully.

Homeowners:
We protect the roof over your head and everything under it, especially
your sense of
security.
We offer broad protection that you can trust, plus affordable
rates, and outstanding
service. Homeowners Insurance Policy
offers protection for your dwelling, as well as your
personal possessions and personal liability.
If something like fire makes your home uninhabitable, insurance
covers the increased
costs of a place to live until you can move back in.
We can replace personal belongings at replacement value – not
the depreciated value.
Homeowners insurance can help protect you in case of a liability
lawsuit against you.
This could occur in a situation where you are held responsible
for:
- Injury to another person
- Damage to another person's property
This could apply whether the incident occurred within your residence
or elsewhere.
Homeowners Insurance Discounts Multiple Line Discounts:
When you purchase your homeowners and auto insurance from same
carrier, you could
be eligible for premium discounts on both policies.
Home Alert Discounts:
You may qualify for premium discounts for having such devices
as fire or smoke detectors,
or burglar alarms (this may not be available in some states or
provinces).
In addition, you may be able to lower your premiums with higher
deductibles.
Higher deductibles lower your premium, but increase the amount
you must pay out
of your own pocket if a covered loss occurs. Ask yourself how
much you are
willing to pay in order to save on premium.

Condominium Unit Owners Insurance:
Protect your corner of the world.
Buying insurance is different for a condominium unit
owner than for owners of conventional homes or renters. That
is why a special unit owners
policy has been developed.
Condo Unit Owner policy is for the customer who owns and occupies
(at least part of the year) a dwelling unit in a structure owned
and insured by a:
- Condominium Association
- Townhome Association,
- Cooperative,
- Homeowner Association,
- Planned Community
- Similar types of organization
What's not covered?
Condominium Unit Owners policy provides comprehensive coverage,
it does not provide
coverage for every loss.
Examples of losses not insured include, but are not limited
to:
- Water damage caused by flood or underground water
- Earth movement including earthquake and mudslide
- Damage caused by settling, deterioration, contamination or nuclear hazard
- Damage caused by birds, rodents, insects or domestic animals
While the Condominium Policy provides personal liability coverage,
it does not provide
coverage for every loss for which you may be liable.
Examples of exclusions include, but are not limited to:
- Bodily injury or property damage that is expected or intended by the insured
- Business activities
- Providing or not providing professional services
- Ownership, operation, use of maintenance of aircraft, motor vehicles and certain
watercraft
This content is only a general description of coverages and is
not a statement of contract.
All coverages are subject to the terms, provisions, exclusions
and conditions in the policy
itself and any endorsements.
